Why Is Our School So Brilliant?
"Teachers Are Committed To The Education Of Our Children. Parents Are Fully Involved And Passionate About Our School.
Best Of All, Our Children Are Very Very Happy" says Parent
Llangedwyn Primary School has been serving the village of Llangedwyn and the surrounding community both in Powys and Shropshire since 1825.
Llangedwyn Church in Wales Primary School provides a bespoke, quality learning experience where we place the child at the centre of everything we do. All are supported and challenged to maximise their true potential. Quality teaching and learning, together with high expectations and a positive, personalised approach to each child is placed at the heart of this Church School. Through the fostering of each child in a safe, secure, healthy and happy environment we will ensure access to a creative, exciting and varied curriculum that meets the needs of all. Through celebration, dedication, collaboration, diligence and co-operation we will prepare our pupils for the next stage of their learning journey and enable them to become successful life-long learners.
"The high level of care and good working between staff and pupils contribute strongly to pupils’ wellbeing."

We All Work Together For The Benefit Of Our Children
Parents are very much part of the school and they have quick and easy access to their child’s teacher.
The school has strong village connections resulting in generations of local families attending over the years. This together with close links with the church ensures that the school life is embedded in the community and vice versa. The value of this type of interaction to the school and to Llangedwyn can not be underestimated.
At Llangedwyn Church in Wales Primary School we enjoy excellent links between ourselves and the local community. We believe that the partnership which exists between home, school, Church and the wider community is crucial to children’s learning.
Over the year the school supports a number of charities including; Children in Need, Macmillan Coffee Morning, Hope House Hospice, Red Nose Day and the NSPCC.
We work very hard for each individual child and it is what the individual achieves that matters to us. We hope you find this informative, but the best way to get to know the school is to come and see it. We would be delighted to meet you and show you around.
